The Republic of Bulgaria in Southeastern Europe is situated on the western coast of the Black Sea and the southern coast of the Danube River. It occupies a land area of 110,995 square kilometers and is bordered by Greece, Turkey, Serbia, and North Macedonia in the south, east, north, and North West directions. The country has been under the empires and regimes of different ethnicities of the early eras like the Romanian Empire, Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire, and the Soviet Union. The strategic location between the European and Asian continents makes it a significant trade destination for different traders across the world.
The inbuilt trading ports infrastructure along with the remuneration of the early trade statistics shows that the country has been evolving exponentially. The attributing factors altogether have led to a GDP of 86.4 billion US dollars in 2023 accompanied by the import trade value of 49 billion US dollars.
