Costa Rica in between the Caribbean Sea, the Pacific Ocean, Nicaragua, and Panama in all four directions is one of the greatest biodiversity in Latin America. The diversity of landscapes and the wildlife habitat there attracts many tourists each year catering to the economic growth. The different variations of animals ranging from elephants, birds, and especially monkeys like the ‘White-Headed Capuchin’ and the ‘Mantled Howler’ are the source of attraction of the site. The population residing there engages themselves in the agricultural sector for their survival and half of the employment rate depends on the same.
The process of trading different products has been followed like a ritual from very ancient times in this place. They discovered coffee beans in the year 1808 and started exporting at a major rate for economic growth in 1820 with a wide range of other products like cacao and sugar. Far beyond the agricultural sector, industrial productivity has also done no less in increasing its economic trade and has recorded a growth rate of 4.31% in the GDP worth 68 billion US dollars in 2022.
